These unique furoshiki, crafted from 100% cotton, pay homage to Japan’s Edo era with striking ukiyo-e prints designed by renowned artisans. Customers will receive 1 of these 3 designs:
1. Fifty-three Cats of Tokaido: Artist Utagawa Kuniyoshi, was known for his love of cats. This ukiyo-e uses charming cats to represent inns along the old Tokaido road.
2. Nihonbashi Bridge: This ukiyo-e is by Utagawa Hiroshige. It vividly depicts a procession of feudal lords leaving Edo early in the morning across Nihonbashi bridge.
3. Edo Woman: Created by Utamaro Kitagawa, this work is one of the “Ten Portraits of Women and Men” series and is considered one of Utamaro’s masterpieces.

Enjoy the unique charm of these sake glasses that have been adorned with ukiyo-e prints of cats painted by Utagawa Kuniyoshi, a renowned Ukiyo-e artist from the Edo Period. The glasses are beautifully crafted with frosted glass and delicate gold detailing. Each glass comes with a masu made of hinoki, or Japanese cedar. Masu are wooden cups traditionally used to drink sake and are still found today in authentic Japanese restaurants.
