Kuzukiri is a traditional Japanese summer delicacy made from arrowroot starch. Known for its smooth, chewy texture and translucent noodles, kuzukiri is typically served chilled with a sweet syrup and topped with fresh fruit. It's a refreshing treat, especially popular in the summer. Make your own kuzukiri noodles and enjoy this Japanese summer treat!
*Preparation Instructions:
1. Best enjoyed chilled, place them in the refrigerator until cool.
2. After preparing a bowl or plate, peel off the top and bottom films.
3. Using the stick provided, push with the flat end until all the kuzukiri is out.
4. Use chopsticks (or chosen utensil) to lightly separate the kuzukiri noodles.
5. Pour the Okinawan kuromitsu syrup over top of the kuzukiri noodles and enjoy!
