Once referred to as “the people’s tea” for its accessibility, genmaicha combines sencha green tea with roasted rice. It yields a comforting, balanced infusion with a roasted flavor, nutty aroma and low caffeine content.
*Package includes 7 tea bags.
Brewing Method
1. For one tea bag, heat 150-200ml of water to 80°C (176°F).
2. Steep for 1 minute, dip the tea bag 5 times, then remove.
3. For a second steep, use 90°C (194°F) water and shorten steep time.
